About

Love. Lead. Align. Rise.

The voice of Love is the only voice that really matters. It’s the only voice that’s real.

And yet, the voice of fear often gets free reign, making us play small to “protect” ourselves.

But we don’t need protection.

We are the light of a thousand suns…and we unleash that light when we stand for LOVE.

The New Brave is about BEING LOVE in every instance we can.

It’s about choosing faith over worry, compassionate curiosity over judgement, togetherness over feelings of separation, expansion over contraction, power over force…it is ultimately about choosing love over fear.

As we peel away the learned patterns of reacting to the world with anger, fear, worry, anxiety, guilt…we come to influence the world with our generosity, playfulness, insight, compassion, and joy.

The New Brave is about what it means to lead with love, choose love, and leave love in our wake.

It’s about the strength that comes from standing in our power — which is to say, standing in the power of Love.

When we lead ourselves from this place, we lead others to it as well.

Our families grow stronger and happier and more resilient.

Our clients – or customers – or co-workers grow stronger, more insightful, happier, and more resilient.

Our communities do too.

Together we rise.

And together we uplift the vibration of the planet.

If you are committed to aligning with the forces of LOVE — and with other people who are committed to aligning with the forces of love, you’ve found a home here.

Brave isn’t what you think it is. The funny thing about being brave, about COURAGE, is that you get it AFTER you do what scares you. NOT BEFORE.

A Welcome Note From Our CEO & Playground Leader

I used to try to protect myself from the slings and arrows of life, but I discovered that life just keeps coming.

Protecting yourself is the easy default. It’s human nature when we feel wounded to pull back, pull in, and protect ourselves.

But then there we are. Shrinking back. Small. Unsure. That’s no life at all.

I’ve weathered a lot of heartache. Hell, I’ve even caused some… and although I wish life wouldn’t hurt, it sometimes does.

Depression. Obsessive compulsive eating. Widowhood. Single motherhood. Both parents gone. I know pain intimately.

But in spite of mad temptation to shrink back, I took a chance and stepped forward and opened to life, to the pain, to the pleasure, to the sadness, to the joy. I discovered I get to choose whether all the hard stuff would make me scared or make me stronger.

I chose stronger.  I committed to choose to see these events in ways that lift me up rather than knocking me down. I learned how to be my own best friend and decided to trust what life brings, even when it looks like a nightmare.

It’s not always a walk in the park, but I wouldn’t live life any other way.

I am blessed by friends and family I adore. A beautiful home. A business I love. Travel. Adventures. Fun. Peace. Confidence. Optimism. And pockets of delicious joy. And of course sometimes frustration, impatience, and sadness — all a part of being human, but far outweighed by the good.

I have learned to look the hard stuff — the fear, the worry, the judgement — straight in the eyes, let the emotions wash through me, open to what they are telling me — and then choose to focus as soon as I can and as much as I can on the experiences, the people, the thoughts, and the emotions that bring me back to love.

I speak, I coach, I write, and I share the truth of my life — not some glossy version you can’t relate to. I share the shortcuts I’ve created through decades of trial and error, and personal growth and development.

I share effective, simple, inspiring strategies that have created emotional wellness and massive mindset shifts in thousands of women.

I have a Masters in Education and a certification in life coaching, and I love working with clients one-on-one and in my group programs.

In The New Brave tribe, I will help you unearth and connect to your truth — what makes you fall, what makes you soar, and what kind of a life you want to create. I’ll give you the tools to navigate life with sail up and rudder down, instead of being tossed about by the seas of inevitable change.

Nothing makes me happier than sharing what works with wonderful women like you. If you want to explore working with me, pop me an email at ellie@thenewbrave.com to start a conversation that could change your life.

I’d love to play with you!

xoxo
